Spouse visa 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
I just came to Japan on a student fellowship. I am thinking to bring my wife after a couple of months. Can she get a visa? Do I need to get permission from my university to get the Eligibility Certificate? Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.

Yes, you may need a support letter to apply for the EC.

Hello!

I do not have any specific advice or info. However, I do know some foreigners studying here in Japan which have their wives here too. So from my experience it is doable. Please ask your university or contact you embassy for more information.
