Beware of Dubious Data Entry Jobs 3 Months ago Karma: 0
While data entry jobs serve as backbone for the IT industries, there are dubious agencies who dupe people sowing the big dreams of earning thousands of dollars through their spam mails and spam job entries. Please beware of these spammers or you will end up being one of them.

Some time back I saw a MSN video in which it was shown how an innocent college student in USA was duped by a dubious farm who hired him for data entry jobs. Please beware of these chits who hire in the pretext of data entry jobs to suck your money, time and energy.

Targeted Employees:

College students, freshers, needy bachelors, jobless people........

Modus Operandi:

You will be shown a big dream of how you can earn 100s to 1000s of dollars overnight. You will be given testimonials of people how they enjoy their vacation in Bahama - all five stars at the cost of the company. You will be shown a dream of owning your own company.

Reality:

You will be asked to send some registration money, once you are attracted and shown your interest to join their bandwagon. Your misery starts the day you pay your registration fees. Then you will enter the whirlpool, where you will be churned to the extent you can bear with.

The Whirlpool:

When you register, with whatever savings you have, you will be shown the reality. You will be at the bottom of a pyramid where your job is it find people like you so that you climb the pyramid and fool some more - this is an endless spamming process when big-time spammers will hire more spammers.

If you are not good in spamming you will loose your registration fees and end up in deeper depression. Enjoy the ride if you like.

Dude!

The industry you are speaking of I have not dabbled in.. but your warning is very important!

It seems young peeps expect to graduate from university and start making the big bucks.. This does happen here or there but by no means does having a degree guarantee you any level of salary.

If what you really want in life is money then you are going to have to work very very hard and keep that as your priority. Your hobbies, thoughts, feelings, family.. etc... take a back seat. What is important to you??

I cannot agree more. Except a few smart (now days that means something negative) people, most under-graduates have to work hard to go up in the ladder of success - means more salary/money.
Well, for most, life path should mean more than earning money. Enjoy the while when you can, time passes so fast and many will realize that at the end of road when they can hardly do anything but repent.

Yes, they usually ask between 50 and 100 USD to register into their system. Once a regular member, your basic job will be to find people like you to become a regular member by paying to the company (from which you may get 2 to 5%). And the loop goes on. You will need to find dozens of people to get back your registration money. It is a small amount for one individual but adds up to the company. More than that, some of these companies sale goods/services such as diet medicines, cosmetics... And to be able to sale those products, you have to buy them first. And .....
